Now, before going any further, something that adds an interesting ingredient to this mix deserves consideration for the clue, or shall we say, the foreshadowing, and inquiry that it adds to this story. Mihdi's name is held by some to mean "leader of men, the Chosen One"; others would suggest a meaning of "the Guided One" or "the Redeemer", the one who precedes the "Second Coming", a concept embraced by a number of religions.
And, as a further aside here, true change that happens on an individual, seemingly inconsequential level, has the potential to spread from one to the next, and eventually to all, having created a foundation solid enough to support the whole collection of individuals.
How many of us, though, are up to the challenge such a leader, such a catalyst sets in motion? Are we even able to realize the possibilities that are present for us? Do we pick up on the clues, and follow the trail they leave, or do we simply see a situation that is someone else's problem to deal with and merrily carry along our way? Whose story is this anyway?
It may just be, that in a small way here and there, Mihdi and his story will affect and bring change to a great many people, and thus, the smaller interpretation will become the larger, even if his name is never known by the world at large.
